Through its range of fundraising activities, The Taronga Foundation supports the Taronga Conservation Society Australia's conservation strategy, which focuses on three main program groups:

  • Species recovery in Australia: In partnership with Commonwealth and State wildlife agencies.
  • Species recovery overseas: In partnership with in situ wildlife agencies through NGOs.
  • Stewardship: At Taronga Zoo and Western Plains Zoo in partnership with local communities.
