With 3 main food outlets and conveniently located vending carts, at Taronga there is a dining experience to suit everyone.

Kick start your day adventure at Taronga Conservation Society with a snack from the Top Kiosk. Open 9am-5.00pm and located just through the main gates, the menu includes sandwiches, wraps, muffins, slices, Byron Bay cookies, crisps, ice creams, cold drinks as well as a full range of espresso Lavazza Coffee – a great way to start you day or unwind before you leave.

Want to relax for morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea and marvel over the spectacular view? Then Tree Tops Café is the perfect place. Indulge in our gourmet platters, baguettes, turkish breads, bagels, croissants, freshly made salads and delicious selection of sweets such as cakes, muffins, Byron Bay cookies and slices. Combined with a chilled glass of Rothbury Estate wines or ice cold beer, Tree Tops Café is a stunning location to soak up the tranquil atmosphere of the Zoo- open 10.00am-4.00pm. If you are on the run, Tree Tops Take Away outlet open from 11.00am-3.00pm, offers an assortment of fish and chips boxes including tempura battered fish, calamari, salt and pepper squid, prawn cutlets, fries and spicy wedges as well as an array of drinks and ice creams.

The Taronga Food Market is centrally located right in front of the Asian Elephant enclosure and offers 5 different food outlets and a bar surrounded with seating for 600 guests indoors and outdoors.

Hot Wok offers your favourite Asian dishes with fresh noodles and steaming rice served in the traditional noodle boxes. Open from 11.00am-2.00pm everyday.

Pastries, muffins, fresh cut sandwiches, baguettes, croissants, wraps, healthy choice options for adults and kids as well as delicious hot pies and sausage rolls are amongst the items available from the Bakery. Freshly ground espresso, teas, soft drinks and juices are available 9am - 4pm daily.

Juicy burgers, fries & tasty chicken wraps are what you will find at Taronga’s – great combo value options available from 10.00am-3.00pm.

Feel like a nice rich pasta? Or delicious pizza straight form the oven? – Then Italian Bites is open from 11.00am-2.00pm for that hearty Italian meal.

Satisfy your sweet craving with a selection of ice creams, lollies and beverages from the Milk Bar from 11.00am- 2.00pm

Bubbles or refreshing beer are available from the Café Bar at the opposite end of the Taronga Food market. Open on weekends and during the holiday period from 10.00am-4.00pm, a range of beverages, espresso and snacks, fresh sandwiches and wraps are on the menu.
