Crash is a Long-nosed Bandicoot who was brought to Taronga Zoo's Wildlife Clinic in October 2005 after being found by a member of the general public. Unfortunately Crash's mother was found dead after being hit by a car in the suburb of Warriewood on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Crash was hand-reared by a dedicated veterinary nurse from the Veterinary Wildlife Clinic which included countless milk feeds around-the-clock while he was very young.

Crash now lives at Taronga Zoo's Education Centre where he acts as an ambassador for his species. Each day Crash meets school students to help spread messages of conservation for his and other animal species whose populations are under threat.
