Watch them in the water and the otters appear to be encased in a silver sheen. This is in fact a film of air bubbles that clings to the longer outer hairs covering their bodies.
Twilight Safari is a great way for your students to learn about animals and the environment whilst exploring the Zoo after the sun goes down. Listen out for lions roaring, see the big cats stalking in the dark and giraffe illuminated against the city skyline.

Twilight Safari is available on Monday to Thursday nights during the school term. We book a minimum of 20 students for each program.
The cost is $29.00 per student with BBQ or $25 without BBQ.
Supervising teachers and parents are free at a ratio of 1 per 10 students. Extra adults pay $29.00 each with BBQ or $25 each without. Extra adult numbers must be negotiated with Zoo Education prior to arrival. All prices include GST.
Closed in walking shoes and wet weather gear if weather is inclement.
