Community involvement plays a significant part in managing Taronga Zoo’s foreshore area.

People that use and enjoy the area also want to be part of caring for this unique environment.

Groups such as Taronga Zoo Bushcare assist with regeneration of the Zoo foreshore.

The Taronga Zoo Bushcare Group, established in 1999, is a volunteer group that meets every second Sunday of the month to undertake bush regeneration activities. We meet at the Artist Camp at Little Sirus Cove about 200m south from the bottom of Rickard Ave Mosman steps. We start at 8.30 and usually finish about 12 noon.

The views are worth a million dollars and the coffee and cake are free!
